Claude Cowork · PRACTICAL COURSE

Stop being the bridge. Start delegating the work.

A hands-on, one-day course that turns Claude into a digital colleague — it reads your files, builds your reports and finishes real work on your computer, while you focus on what matters. No coding.

24 lessons ~241 min in English
✓ You own this course

A hands-on, one-day course for people who work with documents, spreadsheets, and reports every day — and want to eliminate the repetitive tasks that slow them down.

This is not another prompting course.

It is a course about turning Claude into a digital colleague that reads your files, understands your work, and carries tasks through to the end — so you stop being the bridge between scattered documents, spreadsheets, emails, and reports.

The shift is simple: stop asking for answers and start delegating results.

You move from writing prompts to managing outcomes — from chatting with AI to coordinating an assistant that helps you get real work done.

You hand off the work, focus on something else — or take a well-deserved break — and come back to documents that are complete, organized, and ready to use.

What actually changes

The same work, two very different days.

Today, by hand
  • Copy text out of PDFs and paste it into chat
  • Re-upload the same files and re-explain the context
  • Reformat the answer by hand into Word or Excel
  • Save it yourself — then do it all again next week
By the end of the day
  • Instead of summarizing meetings by hand, a skill drafts the notes for you
  • Instead of hunting for the latest file version, Claude compares them for you
  • Instead of rebuilding the same report, you trigger it in one sentence
  • Instead of starting from a blank page, you start from your own saved skills

The real problem this course solves

Most office work is not difficult because it is intellectually complex. It is difficult because it is fragmented.

The information you need is spread across emails, spreadsheets, Word documents, PDFs, shared folders, internal messages, and meeting notes. You spend your time comparing versions, pulling out details, checking data, creating reports, updating templates, and repeating the same workflows week after week.

This course shows you how to turn that scattered work into a clear working system — one that lives on your computer, works with your files, and helps you produce finished outputs instead of just more answers.

Why prompting is dead. Delegation is the future.

Maybe you already chat with an AI model — Claude Chat or any other conversational assistant — for emails, summaries, ideas or cleaner phrasing. And you've probably noticed that after a while, it gets tiring.

Today's manual loop
  1. You think about which prompt to write.
  2. You copy chunks out of documents.
  3. You upload files one by one.
  4. You rephrase the question.
  5. You get an answer.
  6. You paste it back by hand into Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email or your internal docs.

AI helps with pieces of the work. But you are still the one piecing it all together.

With Claude Cowork

Claude Cowork works directly in your project folder. It reads your files, understands how your documents are structured, creates new materials, edits templates, compares versions and remembers the context of your work between sessions. Instead of isolated chats with a bot, you get an assistant that sees your workspace and carries tasks all the way to the finish.

The five skills you'll master

This course is not about writing better prompts. It is about learning how to work with Claude as a capable digital colleague: giving it access to the right files, delegating clear tasks, knowing when to trust or verify its work, and teaching it your preferred way of working. By the end, you will have built five practical skills that turn AI from something you occasionally try into something you can rely on in your everyday work.

1

Put your files at work

Give Claude access to the documents, folders, spreadsheets, and templates it needs — and stop rebuilding context every time you start a task.

2

Ask for outcomes, not questions

Learn how to brief Claude like an assistant: define the result, set boundaries, provide context, and keep one coherent task thread moving.

3

Choose the right tasks to hand off

Know what Claude should handle, what works best as a collaboration, and what still needs your own judgement.

4

Verify without micromanaging

Learn where Claude is strong, where it can slip, and which simple checks make your workflows safe, reliable, and repeatable.

5

Turn your way of working into reusable skills

Teach Claude your formats, naming conventions, document styles, tools, and routines — so repeated work becomes easier to delegate next time.

Build it once, use it endlessly. By the end, you walk away with a set of workflows and at least one skill of your own, built during the course, ready to adapt to your real work right away.

Who this is not for

A short, honest filter — so the course is right for you before you pay.

  • You only want a list of prompts to copy and paste.
  • Your company blocks Claude Desktop or AI tools on work devices.
  • You expect fully autonomous work with no human review — this course is built on a trust-and-verify habit, not magic automation.

Questions before you buy

Do I need to know how to code?
No. The course is for people who work with documents, spreadsheets, PDFs and reports — not programmers. You never write a line of code.
Do I need Claude Code?
No. This is about using Claude as a file-based office assistant on your own computer, not about programming. Claude Code is a separate developer tool you won't need here.
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
Yes. Claude Cowork is part of the Claude Desktop app and the course assumes access to the paid Cowork features. Exact feature availability can vary by plan and organization, so review the current options on Claude's pricing page before buying.
Will Claude edit my real files?
Only inside the scope you give it. You'll learn to work inside a clear project folder, keep originals as copies, and have Claude draft or confirm before overwriting, deleting, sending, or posting anything. Permanent deletion still needs explicit confirmation.
Does it work on Windows and Mac?
Yes. Claude Cowork runs inside the Claude Desktop app on both macOS and Windows — nothing extra to install.
Can I use Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox?
Yes — the most reliable route is to point Claude at a folder that your drive syncs locally and treat it like any other working folder. Cloud connectors can also help, but their capabilities vary: some read/search only, while others can create or edit. Check each connector when enabling it.
Is my data uploaded to Anthropic?
When you use Claude, your files are processed by Anthropic to produce the result — the same as any Claude conversation. Colearn never sees your files. For exactly how Anthropic handles and retains your data, see Anthropic's privacy and usage policies.
Can I use this at work / in a company environment?
Often, yes — but check first. Some organizations restrict Claude Desktop, AI tools, or access to company files on managed devices. If yours does, that's worth confirming with IT before you buy.
What do I get after purchase?
All 24 lessons (self-paced), the course as a downloadable PDF, the Colearn Starting Kit (6 ready-to-install starter skills, not an official team plugin), every hands-on workflow from Module 2, and lifetime updates.
